Well, well! It's been a few weeks since I've returned from this amazing destination wedding in Roatan, Honduras. I still miss the warm sun and fresh tropical breeze. Please note, I posted more photos than I usually do.. but I wanted to tell the story as best I could without leaving too much out. Tara and Olivier decided on Roatan, Honduras for their destination wedding. Roatan is a small beautiful island just east of Belize in the Caribbean Sea. Seriously just a wonderful couple to hang out with during the week along with the rest of the wedding group!
The wedding took place at the Palmetto Bay Plantation (which is a completely eco-friendly resort!). The villas are spread out in a jungled area, very natural! The day started with the girls getting ready with hair and makeup, the guys came and got ready right before the ceremony. Lots of events from Japanese fire lanterns, to dance, to some amazing fire dancers! Check out an extremely fun wedding to shoot!
I caught this humming bird flying around as I was walking back from the beach. :)
Gotta appreciate the care of camera work here :)
There ceremony took place right before sunset. So after it was over the sun was dropping really fast!
I haven't seen this kind of bouquet toss yet. :)
The fire dancers did an amazing job!!
A pretty awesome end to one amazing day! You all know how to party! :)
